NEW DELHI: The Common Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET 2024) for the December session will be held tomorrow in two shifts. It is mandatory for candidates to carry the CTET admit card 2024 issued by the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE). The CTET e-admit-card is available on the official website, ctet.nic.in.

The CBSE Board will conduct the CTET paper 2 in shift 1 which will begin at 9.30 am and conclude at 12 noon. CTET paper 1 will be administered in the evening shift between 2.30 pm to 5 pm.

Biometric authentication may be introduced at the exam centres. Therefore, candidates have been advised to reach the centre well in advance to avoid loss of time.

As per the exam timings, the venue will be opened at 7:30 am for paper 2 in the morning and at 12.30 pm for paper 1 in the evening shift. All 150 questions will be based on multiple-choice questions (MCQs) and will carry one mark each.

CTET 2024 exam day guidelines

The CBSE has announced the exam day guidelines to be followed by all candidates appearing for the teacher eligibility test, CTET .

  • Candidates should show the CTET admit card 2024 downloaded from the official website, ctet.nic.in, to be allowed entry into the examination hall. Those who do not possess the hall ticket will not be permitted to sit in the exam.
  • Candidates should occupy their seat indicating roll number and those found to have changed room or the seat will be disqualified.
  • Candidates who report after the entry timings will not be permitted to sit for the exam. They should report at the exam centre at 7.30 am for morning shift and 12.30 pm for evening shift.
  • Candidates are not allowed to carry any stationery item like textual material, bits of papers, geometry, pencil box, calculator, or any other electronic items such as mobile phones, bluetooth devices, or smart watches.
  • Fifteen minutes before the commencement of the paper, each candidate will be given sealed test booklet with an answer sheet placed inside it.
  • Candidates will not be allowed to leave the examination hall before the exam is over.
  • Candidates who do not sign the attendance sheet the second time will be deemed not to have handed over the OMR sheet and will be considered as an unfair means case.
