CUET PG 2024: Highest number of candidates opt for MBA, followed by LLB, computer science

CUET PG 2024: The NTA recorded 75.14% attendance, which is nearly 14% more than the previous year. A total of 190 universities will offer admission through CUET PG.
NEW DELHI: Over 4.6 lakh candidates appeared in the Common University Entrance Test - Postgraduate (CUET PG 2024) conducted by the National Testing Agency (NTA). The exam was held for admission into PG courses offered by 190 participating universities. Highest number of aspirants chose to appear for MBA, followed by LLB and computer science, as per the data shared by the NTA.

The NTA informed that a total of 4,62,603 unique candidates registered for the national-level entrance exam. The exams was held in computer-based test (CBT) mode from March 11 to 28 in 44 shifts; which is 16 shifts less than the previous year.
The data shared by the NTA showed that among the 7,68,414 registered candidates, 5,77,400 appeared recording 75.14% attendance, which is nearly 14% more than the previous year.
The 190 CUET PG participating universities include 38 central universities, 38 state government universities, 9 government colleges, and 105 private and deemed universities.
In the next step, the NTA will upload the individual response sheet along with the CUET PG answer key 2024 on the official website, pgcuet.samarth.ac.in. Candidates will also be allowed to challenge the answer keys, which will later be reviewed by the subject experts to prepare the final answer key. The CUET PG result date 2024 is yet to be announced.

CUET PG question paper 2024
Around 950 subject experts and 200 translators were involved in preparing the CUET PG question paper. This year, a total of 240 question papers in different mediums carrying 18,000 questions were prepared.
The entrance exam is conducted in bilingual - English and Hindi for humanities, sciences, and common papers. “The language papers were conducted in the concerned language, MTech subjects in English only (13), Acharya papers (27) in Sanskrit, and a few subjects were held in trilingual (English, Hindi, and Sanskrit),” the NTA said.
