After the CBSE term 1 exams concluded last month, a section of students and others including the CBSE Schools Management Association ( CSMA ), an organisation in Tamil Nadu, had requested the CBSE board to cancel CBSE term 1 results due to several reports on alleged malpractices, cheating, technical issues and controversies.
However, the board recently said that it will announce the CBSE Class 10, 12 term 1 result 2022 on the official website cbse.nic.in, cbseresults.nic.in, or on the UMANG app, through IVRS, SMS and on DigiLocker platforms – digilocker.gov.in and the app.

In addition to urging the CBSE to declare the Class 10 and Class 12 term 1 results, students have also started requesting to hold CBSE term 2 exams in online mode due to the prevailing third wave of Covid-19 and increase in Omicron cases in India. Some have even asked the board to cancel CBSE term 2 exams for both Class 10, 12.
A student wrote on Twitter, “CBSE board not able to give Term-1 results in time but forces students to take offline exams in these difficult times.”

Saying that it is unfair to change the CBSE term 1 result date, a student asked the board to declare the result soon.
CBSE, we know there is delay of our boards marks beacuse of sudden increase of covid. But this is not fair as you are changing the date. At first you told you will give the result on jan 15 but didn't. You are changing the date which is not acceptable. As this is giving us anxity

Don't declare CBSE term 1 results: Students request
Some even fear scoring less marks due to the change in CBSE term 1 exam pattern. “The problem is still big as because there are a large number of students who didn't ever attempted a single mcq based questions and CBSE said that students have to prepare MCQ based questions within a limited time frame (3-4 months before term-1) & this will lead bad results,” a student said.

While a large section of students demand immediate declaration of results, some students have requested not to declare the CBSE term 1 results now. A student said, “According to sources result of #term1 to be declare in Feb. But we students request CBSE not to release the results as it will surely Demotivate us for the upcoming exams #term2 . It's a huge request on behalf of every student.”
