DU launches AI certificate course

Delhi University’s new certificate course AI in health sciences aims to provide participants with a strong foundation in the application of artificial intelligence in health sciences, while also promoting ethical understanding, interdisciplinary learning, and real-world medical applications.

“The future requires doctors and healthcare professionals with strong technological skills, and such courses are crucial in preparing students. Therefore, it is recommended to conduct in-person classes on weekends in addition to online learning,” the VC said.

“Like computers, artificial intelligence may replace some jobs, but there is no need to fear it, as it will also create new opportunities; moreover, humans cannot be completely replaced by machines,” the VC added.
