Download NowNEW DELHI: The National Testing Agency (NTA) is expected to announce the result for Common Management Admission Test (CMAT) 2024 in June 1st week. The exam was rated as moderate by over 50,000 candidates who appeared for the exam. The CMAT exam 2024 was conducted on May 15 at various exam centres across the country.

As per the CMAT 2024 marking scheme, candidates will be awarded four marks for each correct answer. There will be negative marking of one mark for incorrect responses.
The exam facilitates AICTE affiliated, participating Institutions to select suitable candidates for admission to the management courses. Candidates with low CMAT 2024 scores will have the given below alternatives to have a career in management programmes.
Appear for other management exams
Candidates with lower CMAT scores can take alternative exams like the Management Aptitude Test (MAT), Xavier Aptitude Test (XAT), IIFT exam, KIITEE Management, Symbiosis National Aptitude Test (SNAP), AIMS Test for Management Admissions (ATMA), and NMAT by GMAC. Selection in any of these significant exams can help candidates secure admission and open up substantial opportunities in the management field.
Enrol in Integrated Management Programme
Students can also opt for the Integrated Management Programme (IPM), which is available after completing class 12th. This five-year program allows students to earn two degrees. Candidates can take entrance exams like JIPMAT and GMAT right after 12th grade to gain admission to various IIM courses and programs.
Direct admission
Several management institutes in India offer direct admission without requiring an entrance test. Admissions are granted based on qualifying scores and merit lists. Candidates who prefer not to take management exams can apply to such institutes. Some institutes may also conduct an aptitude test and personal interview to assess candidates' potential.
