The registration window will open tomorrow, September 17, at 5 pm, and remain open till September 19, 2025. Candidates will have to log in to their dashboards and apply under the On-the-Spot Mop-Up tab.
New applicants who have not registered on the CSAS(UG)-2025 portal can register online at ugadmission.uod.ac.in by paying a one-time non-refundable fee of Rs 1,000 in addition to the registration charges. As per the institute, candidates already admitted to any programme of the University are not eligible to participate.
The on-the-spot mop-up admission round aims to fill vacant seats remaining after the first DU UG mop-up round. The university states that admissions will be based on candidates’ Class 12 marks, not Common University Entrance Test (CUET) scores, and will follow the programme-specific eligibility criteria outlined in the UG Bulletin of Information 2025.
“Candidates must ensure that their documents are updated and valid. No admission shall be granted based on undertaking for extension of time for submitting the required documents. No admission shall be made on seats under Supernumerary Quota except PwBD,” the official press release said.
The DU will begin physical-mode allocations and admissions for the on-the-spot mop-up admission round from September 23, 2025. Candidates will be invited based on merit and seat availability, and shortlisted applicants will receive an Invitation Letter via email specifying the date, time, and venue for reporting.
Once a seat is allocated, it is final, and no upgrades or withdrawals will be permitted. Candidates will have to deposit the admission fee immediately online at the time of allotment; failure to do so will result in cancellation of the seat, which will then be offered to the next eligible candidate.
“Non-reporting of a candidate as per the schedule and within the stipulated time, will forfeit the claim for admission and no request/representation will be entertained thereafter under any circumstances,” the university said.
Candidates registering for the DU UG on-the-spot mop-up round will have to carry the following documents in both original and self-attested copies at the time of admission.
