Dussehra holidays for Telangana junior colleges from September 27

Telangana: The board has announced Dussehra holidays for Classes 11 and 12 till October 5.
The Telangana Board of Intermediate Education (TGBIE) has announced the Dussehra holidays for all junior colleges of the state. All Classes 11 to 12 of the general and vocational streams will remain shut from September 27 to October 5.
The junior colleges will reopen on October 6. TGBIE has requested all principals to adhere to the above guidelines strictly. Any violation of the instructions will be viewed seriously, and strict action will be taken against the administrators.
“Further, all the Principals and the Managements of Junior colleges in the state are instructed not to conduct any classes during the above holidays. Violation of instructions will be viewed seriously, and action will be initiated against the erring managements/Principals, including disaffiliation,” the official TGBIE notice reads.

According to the Jagran Josh reports, all Kerala schools will remain shut on October 1 and October 2 on account of Mahanavami and Vijayadasami.
Additionally, in West Bengal, Durga Puja school holidays have begun on September 24, and schools will remain closed till October 6, as per India Today reports. However, school holidays may vary between government institutions and private institutions.
Bihar schools will also remain closed on September 27, coinciding with the Navaratri and Durga Puja celebrations. Some of the schools may remain closed till October 5 in several districts.
All schools will remain closed on October 2 on account of Gandhi Jayanti to commemorate the birth anniversary of Mahatma Gandhi.
