We demand that Delhi University ensure a completely free and fair voting process without interference or manipulation,” NSUI national president Varun Choudhary said.
He further claimed that the ABVP is resorting to “vote chori” (vote theft) out of fear of the growing student support for NSUI. The students’ group reaffirmed its commitment to uphold the voice of students and safeguard the democratic values of the university.
Joslyn Nandita, a student pursuing MA in Buddhist Studies, has been nominated to be the face of NSUI. She is the first woman to be fielded for the presidential post in 17 years.
