HPBOSE postpones Class 8 to 12 board exams due to heavy rain, snowfall

HP Board has postponed the exams for Classes 8 to 12 in the Pangi, Lahaul and Spiti districts as the roadways have been damaged due to heavy rains.

Download NowNEW DELHI : The Himachal Pradesh Board of School Education (HPBOSE) has decided to postpone the exams for Classes 8 to 12, which were scheduled for March 4 to 8, due to heavy rain and snowfall in the state.

As per the board’s notice, the road of the state, the exams have been postponed due to heavy rain and snowfall in the Himachal Pradesh. The roadways in Pangi of district Chamba and district Lahaul and Spiti have been damaged. For safety reasons, the board has postponed the exams being held in the state.
As per the HBOSE notice, the 8th SOS Hindi exam scheduled to be held on March 4 has also been postponed. Additionally, the board will soon announce the revised exam dates for postponed exams. The exam will be conducted at the allotted centres accordingly.
The HPBOSE Class 10 exams were scheduled to be held from March 4 to March 24 and HPBOSE Class 12 exams from March 4 to 29. The exams have been postponed due to worsening of weather conditions in the state amidst heavy rainfall and snowfall.
