Subscribe NowNEW DELHI: Haryana Public Service Commission (HPSC) is all set to commence the registration process for Haryana Civil Services Exam (HCS) 2024 today, January 5. Candidates can register for HCS (Judicial Branch) examination 2024 through the official website, hpsc.gov.in. The HPSC HCS 2024 application window will close on January 31, 2024.
As per the schedule, HPSC HCS preliminary examination will be conducted on March 3, 2024. The HPSC HCS recruitment drive will fill up 174 posts (129 actual vacancies + 45 anticipated vacancies) of Civil Judge in the Cadre of Haryana Civil Service.
Candidates will be selected on the basis of their performance in a main written examination and interview. However, preliminary examinations will be conducted for screening purposes only.
The HPSC HCS preliminary examination will be held for two hours duration. The paper will have 125 questions and each question shall carry 4 marks. For every wrong answer, 0.8 marks, i.e. 20%, or 1/5th marks, will be deducted.
Candidates with a Bachelor of Law degree from a university established by the law and approved or recognised by the Bar Council of India (BCI) can apply for the HCS (Judicial Branch) Examination 2024. Apart from this, candidates must be between the age 21 to 42 years, on or before January 31, 2024. However, age relaxation will be provided to reserved category candidates.
