IELTS test distributor to award 300 high-performing students

Students are required to book IELTS tests between October 1 and December 31 to be eligible for awards worth Rs 10,000 each.
NEW DELHI: IDP Education, the distributor of IELTS tests in India, has announced the IELTS Celebrating Success Award. Under the programme, 300 awards worth Rs 10,000 each will be given to students who achieve an overall band score of six or higher on their IELTS test. 100 test-takers will be awarded per month, across India, for their study, work, and migration goals abroad.
As per the eligibility criteria, candidates must be 18 years or older and must book an IELTS test, whether academic or general training, between October 1, 2024 and December 31, 2024. The winners will be announced by the 15th of the following month, with a panel selection based on qualitative responses to designated questions. Additionally, to promote diversity and gender inclusion in global education, IDP IELTS India has reserved 33% of the awards for its female candidates.

This award not only acknowledges the candidates’ achievements but also reinforces IELTS' commitment to empowering students and professionals in their global ambitions, the distributor said in an official statement.
Last year, four million IELTS tests were taken worldwide by aspirants for study, work or immigration goals. Moreover, IELTS results are now available within two days for IELTS on computer and within seven days for IELTS on paper.
