NEW DELHI: The International Institute of Information Technology (IIIT) Hyderabad usually admits students to its BTech programmes on a high Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) Main cut-off. The institute does not participate in the Central Seat Allocation Board (CSAB) counselling and conducts undergraduate engineering admissions on separate portal on iiit.ac.in.

IIITH offers two BTech programmes – BTech in computer science and engineering and BTech in electronics and communication engineering. Last year, the institute closed admission to the BTech CSE programme at 866 JEE Main rank. The JEE Main cut-off for BTech ECE at IIIT Hyderabad is slightly lower than CSE, which was 2136 last year.
Besides qualifying JEE Main 2025, aspirants are also required to obtain 60% or more in Class 12 or equivalent qualifying examination with mathematics, physics and chemistry to be eligible.
In an attempt to improve gender diversity, 25% of the seats offered through JEE Main are reserved for women candidates.
To apply for IIIT Hyderabad BTech admissions 2025, male candidates will be required to pay Rs 2,000 as application fee while female applicants will have to make payment of Rs 1,000.
Through JEE mode, IIITH is offering 100 seats in BTech CSE programme and 70 seats in BTech ECE. Of total seats; 75% will be assigned to the common pool and 25% to the diversity pool. Women candidates in top 1% percentile will be selected for the diversity pool.
