Download NowThe Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Bombay will commence the registration facility for the Joint Admission Test for Masters (JAM) 2026 tomorrow, September 5. Interested and eligible students will be able to apply for IIT JAM 2026 on the official website, jam2026.iitb.ac.in. The last date to apply for the entrance exam is October 12.

Students having an undergraduate degree or currently studying in the final year of a UG programme are eligible to apply. Foreign nationals with Indian degrees are also eligible.
IIT JAM 2026 registration process will include filling up the application form, selecting test paper and exam city, and paying the registration fee. Aspirants can appear for a maximum of two test papers and select as many as three exam cities.

JAM 2026 will be conducted on February 15 in two sessions. The exam will be a computer-based test for seven papers including chemistry, geology, mathematics, biotechnology, economics, mathematical statistics, and physics.
IIT JAM 2026 scores will be used for admission to MSc, MSc (Tech), MS Research, MSc – MTech Dual Degree, joint MSc – PhD, and MSc – PhD Dual Degree programmes at the IITs.
