IIT Kanpur Placements 2023: Less job offers on day 1 this year; 428 students placed

IIT Kanpur Placements: Students secured 485 offers and 12 international roles on day 1 of the first phase.
NEW DELHI : The Indian Institute of Technology, Kanpur (IITK) received 485 job offers on the first day of placements 2023. The institute has started the first phase of IIT Kanpur placements. 12 students received international offers.
428 students secured various job roles through a combination of campus placements and Pre-Placement Offers (PPOs). Of those placed, 216 students have “surpassed traditional hiring methods” by securing PPOs from both national and international companies.
The firms which participated on the first day of placement drive included Microsoft, Navi, Texas Instruments, Qualcomm, and Deutsche Bank have emerged as the top recruiters.
