Indian TOEFL test takers to get specially curated TOEFL book free of cost: ETS
TOEFL official beginner’s guide will include real full-length practice test with answer keys, sample responses, access to audio files, information on test content and scoring.

NEW DELHI: ETS, a global education and talent solutions organization, announced today the launch of a special curated Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL) official beginners guide for Indian students. The book with validated content from ETS will be provided to Indian aspirants free of cost.
Speaking at the launch of the book, Omar Chihane, global general manager of TOEFL said: “India is a priority market for ETS, and the ever-growing interest of study abroad aspirants in taking the TOEFL test is a key driver for us to continue to strengthen the prep support ecosystem.”
Highlighting the objective of ETS to provide learner support to Indian test takers, Sachin Jain, country manager India and South Asia at ETS said: “Last year, we launched TOEFL TestReady, an AI-based, self-paced learning platform, and now the TOEFL Official Beginner's Guide, which will be available to Indian test takers free of charge. We are confident that Indian students will benefit from these official learning resources, as much as they will help to optimize their preparation costs.”
The TOEFL Official Beginner's Guide, created for the Indian market, offers validated content directly from the makers of the TOEFL test, it said.
The book will provide aspirants with “a real full-length practice test with answer keys, sample responses, and access to audio files”. Moreover, the aim of the book is to make the aspirants aware of the TOEFL test structure and content, scoring, and additional preparation resources.
“If test takers wish to practice further, they have access to a self-paced learning platform called TOEFL TestReady: www.toefltestready.org ,” it said.
The beginner’s guide was launched by Omar Chihane in Amritsar, Punjab, in the presence of four panelists from Webberz Educomp, Sophiya Consultants, Milestone Education, and Ixora Consultants.
