NTA JEE Main 2024 - What's new this year?
Here are the alterations implemented by NTA for JEE Main 2024.
- NTA launches jeemain.nta.ac.in as the official website for JEE Mains 2024 replacing the previous jeemain.nta.nic.in.
- The revamped website incorporates a chatbot that provides online assistance to applicants throughout the JEE Mains January 2024 application process.
- Candidates now need to create a DigiLocker account using the NAD portal or ABC ID for JEE Mains 2024 registration.
- The number of JEE Main 2024 exam cities is reduced from 304 to 300.
- The syllabus has undergone revision to align with NCERT guidelines for Class 11 and Class 12 students.
- The JEE Mains 2024 application fee has been reduced to Rs 900 for male candidates in the General-EWS and OBC NCL categories.
Candidates must ensure they have the JEE Main admit card 2024 and a valid ID proof before they enter the examination centre. Access to the premises will not be granted without the JEE Mains admit card for session 1.
