NTA said that the calculator feature is a part of the generic test conducting platform and does not apply to the JEE Main 2026 exam, as the use of calculators in any form is not permitted in this examination.
"NTA regrets the typographic error in the Information Bulletin of JEE (Main) 2026 and for the inconvenience caused to the candidates." the NTA notice reads.
NTA has started accepting online applications for the Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) Mains 2026 exam on the official website, jeemain.nta.nic.in. The last date to apply for the JEE Main 2026 session 1 exam is November 27.

NTA JEE Main 2026 revised exam dates
The exam dates for JEE Main 2025 have been revised for the session 2 exam. The JEE Main 2026 session 1 exam will be held from January 21 to 30, and the session 2 dates have been revised to April 2 to 9.
As per the JEE Main 2025 schedule, the JEE Main 2026 session 1 results will be announced on February 12, and session 2 result on April 20.
Recently, the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) asked all its affiliated schools to share Class 11 registration data with the NTA to help prevent any overlap between the JEE Main exam dates and the CBSE Class 12 board exams 2026.
In another major update, the NTA has increased the number of JEE Main 2026 exam cities from 284 to 323.
