The last date for JEECUP counselling 2025 round 2 option selection and deposition of fees has been extended to July 17, up to 12 pm. Document verification can be completed till 2 pm today. Candidates can check their seat allotment on the official admissions portal, admissions.nic.in, by submitting their application number and password.

Joint Entrance Examination Council, Uttar Pradesh (JEECUP) handles the admission process for polytechnic and diploma courses in Uttar Pradesh. Candidates who have been allotted a seat in this round can choose to either ‘freeze’ or ‘float’ the seat, till the last date.

Upon choosing to ‘float’ the seat, candidates are expressing willingness to participate in future rounds of counselling for seat upgradation. The upgraded seat will be based on the choice-filling done previously by the candidate. If the seat is not upgraded in the next round due to lack of vacancies, the current seat will be retained by the candidate.

Upon choosing to ‘freeze’, the candidate expresses unwillingness to participate in further rounds of counselling for seat upgradation. The current seat will be confirmed for admission in this case.

JEECUP last date for offline document verification is also today. Candidates need to visit their designated help centre with all their original documents and educational certificates, self-attested photocopies, and two passport-size photographs. Those who do not complete the document verification within the stipulated time will have their admission cancelled, and they will be allowed to participate in the next counselling round.

It is the responsibility of reserved category candidates to produce valid category proof or certificate before JEECUP last date. If they are unable to prove their category status, they will not be allowed to participate from the reserved category in future rounds.
