JKBOPEE issues revised NEET UG seat matrix; 107 MBBS, BDS seats reserved for EWS

According to the new NEET-UG 2022 seat matrix, EWS has 107 seats - 96 MBBS and 11 BDS seats - across the government medical colleges in J-K.

Download EBookNEW DELHI: Jammu and Kashmir Board of Professional Entrance Examinations (JKBOPEE) has issued the revised National Eligibility cum Entrance Test Undergraduate (NEET UG 2022) seat matrix for MBBS/ BDS courses in both government and private medical colleges in J-K.
As per the latest notice issued by the board, “It is hereby notified that the tentative Seat Matrix of NEET-UG 2021 dated 01-02-2022 uploaded by the Board on its website shall be deemed to have been withdrawn abinitio. The revised Seat Matrix is available on the website of the Board viz www.ikbopee.gov.inonly.”

“The candidate(s) who desire to edit his/her online preferences submitted earlier can do so after uploading of updated/ revised seat matrix. Moreover, the eligible registered candidates figuring in the provisional merit list who have not earlier submitted their online preferences can also do the same by paying online fee of Rs 1500 w.e.f. 23-02-2022 to 24-02-2022 (mid-night),” JKBOPEE added.
According to the new NEET-UG 2022 seat matrix for JK, the economically weaker section (EWS) has now 107 seats - 96 MBBS and 11 BDS seats - across the government medical colleges in Jammu and Kashmir, whereas the OM seats have fallen to 423 MBBS and 54 BDS seats across all the J-K government medical colleges.
On January 21, the Medical Counselling Committee ( MCC ) has put the NEET UG Counselling 2021 on hold since some new MBBS seats of AIIMS, Madurai was being added to the seat matrix.
