Karnataka NEET Counselling 2025: KEA extends deadline for round 1 fee payment, choice selection till August 19

Karnataka Examinations Authority (KEA) has extended the deadline for NEET UG 2025 round 1 seat allotted candidates to complete choice selection and fee payment till tomorrow, August 19. Candidates are also required to report to the allotted colleges by 5:30 pm the same day.

Candidates who have not yet exercised their choices or paid the prescribed fees can do so through the official website at cetonline.karnataka.gov.in. KEA also stated that despite this extended opportunity, candidates who do not exercise their choices or fail to pay the prescribed fees will have their allotted seats cancelled without further notice.

These seats will then be added back to the seat matrix for the second round of counselling. “The deadline for candidates allotted seats in the first round for admission to medical and dental courses to submit their choices and pay the fees has been extended until 3 PM on August 19. They must report to the college by 5:30 PM,” the official notice said.

As per the official schedule, earlier the last date for exercising Karnataka NEET UG round 1 choices by the seat allotted candidates was August 9, 2025, while payment of fees by choice 1 and choice 2 candidates was allowed from August 9 to August 15, 2025. The reporting at the allotted institutes was to be completed by August 16, 2025.

• NEET UG 2025 admit card and scorecard
• Class 10 and Class 12 mark sheets and certificates
• Domicile certificate (for Karnataka candidates)
• Category certificate (SC/ST/OBC/EWS, if applicable)
• PwD certificate (if applicable)
• Parent’s study certificate / hometown certificate / domicile certificate / employment certificate (if applicable)
• Cumulative record or marks card (if applicable)
• Two recent passport-size photographs
• Final printout of Karnataka NEET UG 2025 counselling application form
• Valid ID proof (Aadhaar, passport, etc.)
• KEA declaration form confirming the authenticity of the submitted information
