The Department of Medical Education (DME), Madhya Pradesh has declared the seat allotment result for the first round of MP NEET UG counselling 2025. Candidates who applied for MBBS, BDS admissions through the National Eligibility Entrance Test (NEET) can check the allotment status on the official website, dme.mponline.gov.in. NEET counselling 2025 live updates.
Along with the seat allotment list, the counselling authorities have also published the MP NEET UG 2025 opening and closing rank for round 1. The top NEET 2025 state rank holders opted for Mahatma Gandhi Memorial Medical College, Indore and Gandhi Medical College, Bhopal.
As per the MP NEET UG counselling 2025 schedule, students who have been allotted seats in round 1 are required to report to the allotted institutes between August 19 and 23.
Those who want to upgrade their seats in the second round can exercise the option at the time of admission from August 19 to 24. It is compulsory for all candidates to exercise the option for upgradation (yes or no) at the time of admission at college level.
DME earlier informed that it is mandatory for candidates opting for seat upgradation to submit an affidavit of Rs 500 about serving rural areas and completing the seat leaving bond if not upgraded.
A total of 15,897 aspirants were shortlisted for MP NEET UG round 1 counselling 2025 in the revised merit list, 768 more than the initial number of eligible candidates.
MP NEET UG 2025 counselling is being held for over 85% state quota seats – 3,500 MBBS and 922 BDS. The state postponed the MP NEET UG seat allotment 2025, initially scheduled for August 6, after changes in the state quota counselling by the Medical Counselling Committee (MCC).
