Karnataka PGCET Counselling 2024: Round 1 seat allotment on November 9; enter options by tomorrow

NEW DELHI: The Karnataka Examinations Authority (KEA) has announced the schedule for the first round of seat allotment for the Karnataka Post Graduate Common Entrance Test (PGCET) 2024 counselling. The last date for entering options for MBA, MCA, ME, or MTech admissions is November 8, 2024. The PGCET first seat allotment result 2024 will be announced on November 9 on the official website, cetonline.karnataka.gov.in.

“Option portal is enabled from 30-10-2024 to enter the options for first round seat allotment to MBA, MCA, M.E. / M.Tech courses for the year 2024. Those candidates who have not entered the options can enter on or before 08-11-2024-6.00 pm,” the exam authority said in an official statement.
KEA will allot the seats to candidates on the basis of their merit and the priority of options entered by them during the option entry. Students can enter as many options as they wish to. The counselling authority advised students not to enter the options directly on the online form without preparing a list of colleges and courses on paper first, as it leads to mistakes, wrong entries, and wrong order of preferences.
