Download NowThe Kerala government has announced the Secondary School Leaving Certificate (SSLC) exam time table for the upcoming board exam 2026. As per the Kerala SSLC time table 2026, the state board will conduct exams from March 5 to 30.
Around 4,25,000 students are expected to appear for the Kerala SSLC Class 10 board exam , the general education minister V Sivankutty said recently. The board exams will be held in 3,000 exam centres, including seven in the Gulf region and nine in Lakshadweep, he added.
The Kerala Class 10 board exam will be conducted in Malayalam, English, Tamil, and Kannada medium.
Kerala Class 10 board exam 2026: Mark distribution
The Kerala state board will evaluate the students based on two components - written exam and continuous assessment, which includes internal exam and projects. English, mathematics, and social science will carry 80:20 weightage for written and internal assessment, respectively.
All other subjects, except for Information Technology (IT), will carry 40:10 weightage. However, the theory exam for the IT subject will be conducted on the computer along with the practical exam, instead of a separate written exam. The total marks for the IT exam will be 50 marks. The marks obtained by students in the continuous assessment, theory examination and practical examination will carry a 10:10:30 weightage.

Students appearing for the Kerala Class 10 public exam 2026 should note that all exams will be held in the morning session. The Kerala SSLC exams will begin at 9.30 am and conclude at 11.15 am. Some exams will be conducted till 12.15 pm. Complete Kerala SSLC date sheet 2026 here.
