MCC NEET UG 2025 round 1 counselling registration extended to aid PwD; seat allotment shifted to August 6

The Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) has once again extended the registration date for the NEET UG counselling 2025. Medical aspirants will be able to apply for MBBS, BDS admissions under the 15% All India Quota (AIQ) seats until August 3.

The NEET UG counselling 2025 schedule has been revised to accommodate PwBD candidates who are still in the process of obtaining certificates from designated disability centers.

The MCC has set up a total of 16 designated disability centres for PwD students seeking MBBS and BDS admission. They have been instructed to approach these centres to obtain their disability certificate based on their UDID card and self-certified documents.

It is mandatory for candidates to obtain a valid PwD certificate for participating in the 15% AIQ seats.

Earlier, the round 1 NEET UG seat allotment 2025 was scheduled to be published on August 3. However, as per the revised schedule, the MBBS and BDS seat allocation under the 15% AIQ seats will be announced on August 6.

Over 1.15 lakh MBBS seats will be filled through four rounds of MCC NEET counselling 2025. The NEET seat matrix for deemed universities , central universities, and AIQ seats have also been notified on the official website, mcc.nic.in.
