As notified earlier, MCC decided to revise the final allotted result for round 2 counselling and put the reporting process on hold. The decision came after a government medical college, which has not been named, admitted that it mistakenly submitted twice the number of seats than those actually available for MCC NEET round 2 counselling 2025 .
“In supersession to earlier notice it is hereby clarified that the result remains unchanged as declared on September 18. Hence, the candidates are advised to download the allotment letter and proceed for reporting as per the schedule without any change,” the official NMC notice said.
MCC declared the NEET UG round 2 allotment results after examining all the grievances submitted by the aspirants to the provisional allotment results. The grievance window was open till 10 am on September 18.
A total of 2,420 seats have been upgraded , while the top scorers retained their seats, as per the NEET UG counselling round 2 allotment result.
Furthermore, the commission has recently revised the NEET UG seat matrix and added 6,850 new MBBS seats and reduced more than 1,000 seats during renewal.
