MHT CET offered 1,84,528 Bachelor of Technology (BTech) and Bachelor of Engineering (BE) seats for round 4 admissions. A total of 83,005 candidates filled out the MHT CET round 4 application form, as per the CET Cell update.
In MHT CET 2025 round 3 counselling, 95,253 candidates were admitted for BE, BTech admission.
As per the MHT CET counselling 2025 schedule, round 4 seat acceptance and college reporting will begin from September 2 onwards till September 5. Candidates are advised to confirm their seats and pay the admission fee before the last date to complete the admission process. Candidates who have been allotted seats in the MHT CET CAP counselling 2025 will be able to cancel their seats with a full fee refund on September 11.
MHT CET round 4 allotment out; What’s next?
Once the MHT CET round 4 allotment results 2025 have been declared, candidates will have to accept their allotment before the deadline, or their candidature will be cancelled. The list of following options are available for seat allocation is as follows.
- Freeze : Candidates can accept the allotted seat and don’t participate in further rounds.
- Float : Candidates can accept their seat but also stay eligible for a higher preference in the next round of counselling, if any.
- Slide : Students can accept their seat but also seek a better branch for admission in the allotted institute in the next round.
MHT CET 2025: How to check allotment?
The steps to check the MHT CET round 4 allotment 2025 are as follows.
- Visit the official website, cetcell.mahacet.org.
- Click on the “CAP portal for BE/BTech Admissions”.
- Log in to the candidate portal using your credentials.
- Click on the link “Seat Allotment Result” on the dashboard.
- After logging in, your allotment result will be displayed on the screen.
- Download the MHT CET allotment for future reference.
MHT CET will issue the institute quota-wise and vacant seats, if any, after CAP counselling on September 6. Candidates will be able to complete the admission process till September 13.
