NBEMS DNB final thesis submission deadline to November 12; exam from December 18

The National Board of Examinations in Medical Sciences (NBEMS), New Delhi, has extended the thesis submission deadline for the DNB Final Theory Examination-December 2025 session. As per the official notice, the revised deadline for DNB final theory submission is November 12.

As per NBEMS norms, thesis submission is mandatory for all DNB trainees as part of the eligibility criteria for the Diplomate of National Board (DNB) qualification. Earlier, the deadline for submission was September 30, 2025, at 11:55 PM.

Following multiple requests from trainees unable to meet the original deadline, NBEMS has extended the submission date. NBEMS has clarified that no further extensions will be provided. Trainees who fail to submit their thesis by the revised deadline will be considered ineligible to appear for the December 2025 examination.

“All the concerned trainees and accredited institutions are informed that no further extension shall be given, and those trainees who do not submit their Thesis by 12.11.2025 (11:55 PM), shall be rendered ‘ineligible’ to appear in their DNB Final Theory Examination-December 2025 session,” the official notice said.

The NBEMS will conduct the DNB December 2025 final theory exam on December 18, 19, 20, and 21, 2025, in computer-based format at multiple centres nationwide.

Eligible candidates will have to complete and submit their application through the official website, natboard.edu.in, before the specified date.
