Download NowNEW DELHI: National Entrance Screening Test (NEST) registration deadline has been extended from May 31 to June 3 for candidates seeking admission to National Institute of Science Education and Research (NISER), Bhubaneswar and University of Mumbai - Department of Atomic Energy Centre for Excellence in Basic Sciences (UM-DAE CEBS). The NEST 2024 exam will be conducted on June 30.
The entrance exam will be held in computer-based test mode in 120 cities for admission to the five-year Integrated MSc programme in Biology, Chemistry, Mathematics and Physics at both the institutes.
Applicants who have passed Class 12 board exam in science stream in the year 2022, 2023 or appeared in 2024 board exam from a recognized board will be eligible to apply. Additionally, they should have obtained a minimum of 60% in aggregate in Class 12 exam and SC, ST, PwD candidates are required to have 55% in the qualifying exam.
Candidates selected for five-year integrated MSc programme in NISER, CEBS will be eligible to receive an annual scholarship of Rs 60,000 under the DISHA programme of the Department of Atomic Energy, Government of India.
