NIFT Creative Ability Test (CAT) was held from 10.00 am to 01.00 pm while General Ability Test (GAT) was conducted from 02.30 pm to 04.30 pm. As per the input from the NIFT aspirants and experts, CAT was comparatively easier than last year. However, students found the GAT question was moderate and quite tricky. Students faced challenges in managing time as the paper had a specific deadline.

Due to the unprecedented COVID-19 situation and the increasing number of cases, the NIFT entrance exam 2022 was conducted online as a proctored examination. NIFT entrance exam marking scheme varies for GAT and CAT. In the NIFT CAT exam, students are evaluated out of 100 marks. In the GAT exam, candidates are awarded one mark for every right answer and 0.25 marks will be deducted for each wrong answer.

NIFT entrance exam 2022: Students reaction
Most of the students who appeared in NIFT 2022 CAT found the question relatively easy while some students found it moderately difficult. A total of 3 questions were asked for a maximum of 100 marks in NIFT CAT.
According to the NIFT aspirants, the GAT paper was very tricky. The majority of NIFT exam takers found the QA section difficult, however, the English section was easier. The current affairs and GK section were moderately easy.
Students appearing for the B.FTech admission 2022 to the NIFT entrance exam found GAT questions moderately difficult. Other students found Analytical & Logical Ability questions quite tricky to answer.
While taking the NIFT entrance exam 2022, many students are facing home page issues to log in to the exam. Some students reported that the window would take longer to upload the photo.
