The National Institute of Fashion Technology (NIFT) has declared the seat allotment result for the spot round of admission counselling 2025. The results are available on the candidates’ login at nift.admissions.nic.in.
Candidates can download the provisional admission letter and physically report to the allotted NIFT campus by August 11, 2025. Non-resident Indian (NRI) sponsored students who are allotted a seat during the spot round should complete the payment of the remaining fees by August 9.

NIFT Counselling: Spot round
The spot round will be the final round of counselling for NIFT admissions 2025. Candidates who have appeared for the NIFT entrance exam and have secured a Common Merit Rank (CMR) for a regular undergraduate or postgraduate programme, or NIFT Lateral Entry Admission (NLEA), cannot opt for further seat upgradations through subsequent counselling rounds.
Students who have been allotted a seat in the final round of NIFT counselling have to accept the seat and report for document verification. Failure to report during the given time will lead to cancellation of the seat allotment and confiscation of the admission fee amount.
If a candidate had opted for seat upgradation in the previous round and was not allotted a fresh seat during the spot round, the previously allocated seat will be retained. The candidates can accept admission against the seat within the stipulated time.
