Online certificate courses at IITs without JEE scores

Aspirants can opt for online certificate courses offered by IITs in various fields such as data science, AI, machine learning, and cloud computing, etc.
NEW DELHI : The Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) offers admission opportunities for various courses without having to qualify the JEE entrance exams. We know only a few secure seats in the top IIT colleges through tough competition in the JEE entrance exams. However, multiple other pathways and entrance exams offer admissions to top IIT colleges with the JEE scores.
Several IITs offer short-term and long-term courses, certificate courses without JEE scores, and are designed to equip aspirants with industry skills.
Entrance exams such as Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE), Common Admission Test (CAT), Undergraduate Common Entrance Exam for Design (UCEED) and (Common Entrance Exam for Design) CEED, Joint Admission Test (JAM) are few other options for aspirants to secure a seat at IIT without cracking JEE exams.
IIT online certificate courses
Aspirants can check the list of online courses with certificates available at several IITs, which you can opt for skill development, are as follows.
IIT Madras BSc in data science
Anyone who has qualified Class 12 or equivalent can apply. Students who have appeared for their Class 11 final exams can apply. Those who qualify can join the data science programme after passing Class 12.
IIT Kanpur artificial intelligence, machine learning (AIML) with python
This is a four-week certificate programme designed for students, faculty members, industry professionals to learn implementation of the algorithms and software for artificial intelligence (AI), machine learning (ML), neural networks (NN) and deep learning (DL) toward projects, research and placements to further their careers.
IIT Kanpur certificate programme in cloud computing and devOps
The eight-month programme will include live masterclasses delivered by IIT Kanpur faculty. Aspirants will learn about multiple devOps tools and 20+ cloud services. Aspirants applying must have a bachelor’s degree with atleast 50% attendance and a preferred one year of work experience.
IIT Guwahati professional certificate programme in GenAI and machine learning
Aspiranys having a bachelor's degree with an overall average of at least 50% and basic knowledge of maths and other programming concepts, with preferred 2+ years of work experience. The programme fee for genAI and machine learning is Rs 1,34,999.

IIT admission through other entrance exams
Aspirants can secure a seat at IITs through the Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE). The GATE exam is held for MTech , integrated MTech-PhD, and PhD in engineering and relevant fields. If you have secured a BTech degree from a private college, you can take admission to MTech and other programmes at the IITs listed below.
