Rajasthan NEET UG 2025: Round 2 choice filling begins; security deposit up to Rs 5 lakh for MBBS admission

SMS Medical College will commence the choice filling process for Rajasthan NEET UG round 2 counselling 2025 today. There are a total of 724 medical seats up for grabs in the second round admission process. Candidates eligible for Rajasthan NEET UG counselling are required to pay a security amount before September 22 on the official website, rajugneet2025.in. MCC NEET UG Counselling 2025 LIVE

As per the Rajasthan NEET UG seat matrix 2025 , a total of 724 medical seats are vacant in government and private medical colleges in the state, out of which, 610 are MBBS seats and the remaining 114 are vacant for BDS courses.

Candidates who have registered for round 1 but did not get an allotment, those who did not join the allotted college, or resigned after joining the college are required to fill their choices before the last date.

Newly registered candidates have also been instructed to fill their choices between September 19 to 22. However, those who were allotted seats in round 1 and do not wish to upgrade can refrain from filling their preferences.

It is important for all candidates to fill choices as the previous submitted preferences will not be considered in the upcoming counselling rounds.

Rajasthan NEET UG 2025: Security deposit details

Along with the Rajasthan NEET UG choice filling process, the college has also instructed participants to deposit the security amount for MBBS, BDS admissions . The security deposit varies for different types of medical colleges and seats.

Candidates who deposited the applicable security amount in round 1 are not required to deposit the fee again.

Government MBBS seats: Rs 50,000 is the security amount to be paid by candidates belonging to all categories – UR, EWS, SC, ST, OBC – opting for MBBS seats in government medical colleges, government society medical colleges, Rajasthan University of Health Sciences, Jaipur (RUHS), College of Medical Sciences (CMS), and Employees’ State Insurance Corporation Medical College, Alwar (ESIC MC).

Management seats: Candidates choosing to pursue MBBS in government society colleges and RUHS, CMS under the management quota are required to pay a security deposit of Rs 2 lakh.

NRI seats: Rs 5 lakh is the security amount to be paid by students opting for NRI seats reserved in government medical colleges, Govt. Society Colleges, RUHS, and CMS.

Private medical colleges - Candidates applying for MBBS courses in private medical colleges will have to pay Rs 5 lakh.

BDS security amount - For BDS courses in government and private dental colleges, candidates are required to pay Rs 10,000 as security deposit.

Candidates depositing Rs 2 lakh to Rs 5 lakh will be eligible to apply for government, private, and govt society colleges.
