RPSC RAS Prelims 2024 syllabus issued on rpsc.rajasthan.gov.in; registration begins tomorrow

RPSC RAS 2024: Candidates will be able to apply for preliminary exam till October 18. The exam will be held on February 2, 2025.
NEW DELHI: The Rajasthan Public Service Commission (RPSC) has issued the syllabus for the Rajasthan Administrative Services (RAS) Preliminary exam 2024 scheduled for February 2, 2025. Along with the RPSC syllabus, the commission has also released the marking scheme and exam pattern on its official website, rpsc.rajasthan.gov.in.
RPSC RAS prelims 2024 registration will commence tomorrow, September 19. Interested and eligible candidates will be able to apply by October 18. The recruitment process aims to fill a total of 733 vacancies including 346 state service posts and 387 subordinates.
The Rajasthan State and Subordinate Services Combined Competitive (CCE) Preliminary exam 2024 will consist of one paper on the general knowledge and general science subject. The test will be of objective-type and carry a maximum of 200 marks. The duration of the prelims exam will be three hours and the question paper will comprise of 150 questions.
“The examination is meant to serve as a screening test only. The Standard of the paper will be that of a Bachelor’s Degree Level. The marks obtained in the Preliminary Examination by the candidates, who are declared qualified for admission to Main Examination will not be counted for determining their final order of merit,” read the official notification.
As per the marking scheme, there will be a negative marking and one-third of marks will be deducted for an incorrect response.

- Economy of Rajasthan
- Science and Technology
- Reasoning and Mental Ability
- Current Affairs
