SSC MTS, Havaldar admit card 2025 not out yet; delay fuels frustration as exam start tomorrow

SSC MTS Exam Date 2025: The multi-tasking staff and havaldar recruitment exam was scheduled to begin from September 20 and conclude on October 24 to fill 8,021 vacancies.
Lakhs of candidates are awaiting the SSC MTS, Havaldar admit card just a day before the exam — a delay that has deepened frustration among candidates, especially amid the ongoing mismanagement allegations and exam cancellation reports.
The Staff Selection Commission ( SSC ) announced that it will conduct the Multi-Tasking (Non-Technical) Staff, Havaldar recruitment exam to fill vacancies under various ministries, departments, and offices of the Government of India. The SSC MTS vacancies were recently revised and the final number of vacancies has been fixed at 8,021 .
As per the schedule announced by the commission on June 26, the SSC MTS exam will be conducted from September 20 and will go on till October 24. Around 19 - 36 lakh candidates have appeared for the recruitment exam in the previous years.
Earlier, the commission informed candidates that SSC MTS admit card 2025 will be made available about 2-3 days before the exam date. Notably, SSC MTS hall ticket is a mandatory document detailing the candidate’s personal information, exam and venue details to be carried to the exam centre for verification.
No candidate will be allowed to sit for the exam without the SSC MTS, Havaldar admit card .
The commission also announced that it will upload the exam city and centre details at least 10 days before the exam date. It even asked candidates “who do not find their details on the website”, one week before the exam, to “immediately contact the regional office with proof of having submitted an application”.
The selection process of the SSC MTS recruitment exam consists of a computer-based test (CBT), and physical efficiency test (PET)/ physical standard test (PST). The SSC MTS CBT exam will be conducted in Hindi, English, and 13 other regional languages such as Assamese, Bengali, Gujarati, Kannada, Konkani, Malayalam, Manipuri (Metei or Meithei), Marathi, Odia (Oriya), Punjabi, Tamil, Telugu, and Urdu.
