SSC MTS Recruitment 2025: Revised tentative vacancies for Havaldar and Multi-Tasking Staff out on ssc.gov.in

The Staff Selection Commission has announced 8,021 vacancies; the computer-based exam will be held from September 20 to October 24, 2025.
The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) has released the revised tentative vacancies for the Multi-Tasking Staff (MTS) and Havaldar recruitment 2025. Earlier, SSC had issued a notice on June 26, 2025. Interested candidates who have registered for the competitive exam can visit the official website of the commission, ssc.gov.in, to check the official notice.
As per the latest notice, SSC has announced a total of 8021 vacancies — comprising 6078 for 18 to 25 years, 732 for 18-27 years, and 1,211 for Havaldar posts under the Central Board of Indirect Taxes and Customs (CBIC) and Central Bureau of Narcotics (CBN). Earlier, SSC announced a total of 5,464 vacancies comprising 4,375 for MTS and 1,089 for Havaldar posts.
The computer-based examination is scheduled to be held between September 20 and October 24, 2025.

SSC MTS Recruitment 2025: Exam process, vacancies
The Staff Selection Commission will conduct the SSC MTS and Havaldar recruitment through a Computer-Based Examination (CBE), followed by a Physical Efficiency Test (PET)/Physical Standard Test (PST) for Havaldar posts.
