SSC steno grade C, D option-cum-preference window opens at ssc.nic.in; active till February 2

The SSC stenographer grade C and D recruitment exam 2023 result was declared on November 24.
NEW DELHI: The Staff Selection Commission has issued a notification regarding the SSC stenographer grade C and D exam 2023. According to the official notice, candidates who have appeared in SSC Stenographer skill test can submit their option-cum-preference for post(s) or organization(s) via candidates login on the website of SSC at ssc.nic.in.
According to the SSC official notification, Stenographer grade C and D option-cum-preference window for posts or organisation will be activated till February 2, 2024.
"Candidates may please also note that option-cum-preference can be revised only during the aforesaid period and the Option-cum-Preference last submitted by the candidate will be treated as final. Candidates who fail to exercise their Option-cum-Preference during the aforesaid period, shall not be given any further opportunity for submission of their Option-cum-Preference and such candidates will not be considered for inclusion in the final merit list/final selection," reads the official notification.
The SSC held the computer-based recruitment examination for the post of stenographer grade C and D 2023 on October 12 and 13 2023. The result of paper-I was declared on November 24, 2023. Furthermore, the SSC held the skill test for the same post of January 3 and 4 , 2024.

Steps to submit SSC steno grade C, D option-cum-preference form
Candidates can follow these instructions to submit SSC steno grade C, D option-cum-preference form.
- Go to the official website of SSC at ssc.nic.in
- On the homepage, login using your credentials such as username and password.
- Click on the option-cum-preference.
- Enter the details.
- Click on save and submit the form.
- Download or take a screenshot of the confirmation page.
- Take a printout for further reference.
