TN Police Recruitment 2025: Registration begins for 59 posts of bomb detection, disposable squad

Tamil Nadu police recruitment 2025 for ex-servicemen and paramilitary force personnel with bomb detection and disposal skills has commenced. A total of 59 posts are available for recruitment on a contract basis for a period of one year or extendable if required.

According to the official TN statement, eligible candidates can send their applications to the additional director general of police, operations, Marutham, number 17, Boat Club Road, Raja Annamalaipuram, Chennai (600028) by post before October 31.

Candidates have to submit their application along with their bio-data, copies of educational certificates, required pages of discharge book, pension, pay order, BDD course, and experience certificate.

Only eligible candidates will be called for selection trials, which will include verification of certificates, written and practical tests, etc.

• Inspector (BDDS) from Ex-Subedars and Subedar-Majors: 2 vacancies with pay scale of Rs 37,700 to Rs 1,19,500.
• Sub-Inspector (BDDS) from Ex-Naib Subedars: 14 vacancies with pay scale of Rs 36,900 to Rs 1,16,600
• Head Constable (BDDS) from Ex Havildars and Naiks: 43 vacancies with pay scale from Rs 20,600 to Rs 65,500
