Tamil Nadu TET 2025 registration begins for 1,996 school teacher vacancies

“The validity periods of Teacher Eligibility Test (TET) Certificate for appointment unless otherwise notified by the Government would remain valid for life,” the official statement said.
Teachers Recruitment Board (TRB), Tamil Nadu has commenced registrations for the Teacher Eligibility Test (TET) for the direct recruitment of Graduate Teachers and Block Resource Teacher Educators (BRTE) in the school education department and other departments of the state. Eligible candidates can apply through an official website at trb.tn.gov.in to fill a total of 1,996 vacancies.
The application link for the TN TET 2025 will be available by August 12 till 5 pm. The application link to register for the posts of Postgraduate Teacher Physical Education Director Level and Computer Instructor Level 1 is active at the official portal.
“The validity periods of Teacher Eligibility Test (TET) Certificate for appointment unless otherwise notified by the Government would remain valid for life,” the official statement said.
As per the passing criteria, general category candidates should have to obtain at least 90 marks, Persons with Disability (PwD) must secure 82 marks, whereas other categories such as BC, BCM, MBC, DNC, SC, SCA, ST and PwD should also have to secure 82 marks to be declared qualified in the TN TET 2025.
