Telangana defers last date for TSBIE intermediate 1st year admission

Download NowNEW DELHI: The Telangana State Board of Intermediate Education (TSBIE) has deferred the last date to submit the inter 1st year admission form. Candidates seeking admission to 1st year inter programmes at TSBIE colleges can apply by August 5. The decision of TSBIE to postpone the last date is in view of the heavy rains and floods in the state.
The state board will also allow candidates to fill the application form between August 6 and August 16 with a late fee of Rs 500 in all private junior colleges and without late fee in government and government sector colleges.

“All the Principals of Junior Colleges offering Two year Intermediate Course are informed that in view of the heavy rains and foods in the state, the last date for admissions into Ist year Intermediate for the academic year 2023-24 is extended up to Dt: 05-08-2023,” a TSBIE statement said.

Therefore, the statement added, all the principals are instructed to take necessary action to admit the candidates into the intermediate first year until the last date. This will ensure that eligible students are not deprived of the opportunity to pursue their higher education, it added.
Parents and students have been advised to enroll for first year admissions in the affiliated junior colleges only.
