TG PGECET 2025 Counselling: Registration begins on August 1; eligibility criteria

Candidates with valid GATE, GPAT, TG PGECET scores can register for the counselling for MTech and MPharm admissions.
The Telangana Council of Higher Education (TGCHE) has announced that the registration for TG PGECET 2025 counselling will begin on August 1. Candidates with valid GATE and GPAT scores will be given first preference, and the remaining seats will be filled based on TG PGECET scores.

TG PGECET counselling is conducted for admission to Master of Engineering (ME), Master of Technology (MTech), Master of Pharmacy (MPharm), Master of Architecture (MArch), and a graduate-level Doctor of Pharmacy (Pharm D) programmes.
Telangana Post Graduate Engineering Common Entrance Test (TG PGECET or TS PGECET) counselling will be done online on the official website, pgecetadm.tgche.ac.in. Candidates will be ranked based on the scores in Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE), Graduate Pharmacy Aptitude Test (GPAT), and TS PGECET exams.

TS PGECET Counselling: Seat allotment
The TS PGECET 2025 seat allotments will be based on several factors, such as choices filled by candidates, merit list, and availability of seats in Telangana engineering colleges.
Candidates can accept their allotted seats, or opt for upgradation in the subsequent counselling rounds.

To be eligible for TS PGECET counselling 2025, candidates should have obtained a minimum of 50% marks in the qualifying examination. For reserved category candidates, the minimum qualifying marks is 45%.
TG PGECET exam was conducted in June 2025. The complete counselling schedule will be updated by the council on the official admission website.
GATE and GPAT qualified candidates can submit their best scores from 2023, 2024, or 2025, while for TS PGECET, only the marks secured in 2025 will be accepted.
