Subscribe NowNEW DELHI: The Tamil Nadu Public Service Commission (TNPSC) has increased the number of vacancies to be filled through the group 4 services recruitment examination. The TNPSC group 4 services recruitment exam was initially held for 6,244 vacancies, but after the third addendum, the total number of vacancies now stands at 9,491.
The commission first added 480 vacancies on September 11, then increased 2,208 more on October 9 and after that, another 559 were added on October 28.
Tamil Nadu Combined Civil Services Examination (CCSE) for group 4 services exam was held on June 9, 2024 and the result was announced on October 28. Candidates can download the TNPSC group 4 result 2024 through the official websites, tnpscresults.tn.gov.in and tnpscexams.in.
Candidates will have to use their login credentials such as registration number and date of birth to download the TNPSC group 4 services result 2024.
TNPSC group 4 selection process 2024
The selection process for the TNPSC Group 4 examination typically involves the following steps:

Written Examination : Candidates must first pass a written exam, which tests their knowledge in various subjects such as General Studies, Tamil/English, and Mental Ability.

Results Declaration : After the examination, TNPSC will announce the results, listing candidates who have qualified.

Counseling and Document Verification : Qualified candidates are called for counseling, where their documents are verified.

Final Selection : Based on the written exam scores and the number of vacancies, candidates are selected for the available positions.
This year, around 15.8 lakh applicants appeared for the recruitment exam held at 7,247 examination centres across the state. The answer key for TNPSC Group 4 was released on June 18 and the candidates were given a seven-day window until June 25 to raise objections, if any. Candidates who have cleared their Class 10 board exam can only apply for the exam. The age limit to apply is typically between 18 and 30 years but there are relaxations for the reserved category candidates.
