TS Inter 1st Year Exam 2025: 15 malpractice cases reported; 96.20% attendance recorded on day 6

TS Inter 1st Year Exam 2025: A total of 5,20,314 students registered for the 1st Year exam, out of which 5,00,572 appeared.
NEW DELHI: The Telangana State Board of Intermediate Education (TGBIE) conducted the Intermediate Public Examination (IPE) for first-year students today. The TS Inter 1st year exams were held for chemistry and commerce paper 1.
As per official data, a total of 5,20,314 students registered for the TS Inter 1st Year exam 2025 , out of which 5,00,572 appeared, recording an attendance percentage of 96.20. A total of 19,742 students were absent.
The board reported 15 malpractice cases, including one in Jagtial, three in Warangal, 10 in Bhoopalpally, and one in Nizamabad. Additionally, an impersonation case was recorded in Rangareddy district. The exam was conducted under ‘SET B’.
Observers were deployed in Warangal, Bhoopalpally, Medak, Bhadradri, and Hyderabad districts to monitor the exam process. Reports from these centres confirmed that the examination was conducted smoothly and peacefully without any untoward incidents.

To ensure the smooth conduct of the Telangana Board exams 2025 , the TGBIE had earlier directed the installation of advanced CCTV surveillance systems across government, private, and residential junior colleges.
With most of the exams completed, only two more papers remain in the Telangana Board of Intermediate Education's IPE March 2025 schedule. Public Administration Paper-II and Bridge Course Maths Paper-II are set to be held on March 22, while Geography Paper-II and Modern Language Paper-II will be conducted on March 25.
