UCEED and CEED are national-level entrance examinations conducted by IIT Bombay to assess candidates’ design aptitude. UCEED is conducted for admission to Bachelor of Design (BDes) programmes at IITs and other participating institutes, while CEED is for Master of Design (MDes) and PhD programmes.
“Registration portal will be available from October 01, 2025, 12:00 AM onwards,” the official notice said. As per the official schedule, the last date to register for UCEED 2026 and CEED 2026 is October 31, 2025. Candidates who miss this deadline can still apply by paying a late fee of Rs 500. The last date to register with the late fee is November 18, 2025.
The UCEED, CEED 2026 entrance exam is scheduled to be held on January 18. The exams will be held in a single shift from 9 am to 12 noon. The institutes will release the detailed notification tomorrow on the official websites, including information on application fees, eligibility criteria, exam pattern, syllabus and any changes from the previous year.

The UCEED and CEED exams are accepted by several participating institutes, including IIT Bombay, IIT Delhi, IIT Guwahati, IIT Hyderabad, IIT Roorkee, IIITDM Jabalpur, and IIT Indore. In addition, the results are also shared with over 30 other institutes, classified as result-sharing institutes, which use the scores for shortlisting or reference but may have separate admission criteria.

- Register by creating a new account with valid personal details and a working email ID.
- Fill in the application form with educational, personal, and contact information.
- Upload the required documents and pay the application fee
- Download the confirmation receipt and take a printout for future reference.
