NEW DELHI: The National Testing Agency (NTA) will close the application correction window for the University Grants Commission - National Eligibility Test (UGC NET) December session 2024 today, December 14. Successfully registered candidates can make changes in their UGC NET 2024 December session application form through the official website, ugcnet.nta.ac.in.
As per the official notice, the UGC NET December 2024 application correction facility will remain active till 11: 59 pm. Candidates will have to use their login credentials including registration number and date of birth to make changes in their UGC NET 2024 application form.
“The candidates are allowed to make the corrections, latest by 14th December 2024 (Up to 11:59 P.M.). Thereafter, no correction in particulars, whatsoever, will be entertained by NTA under any circumstances. The additional fee (wherever applicable) shall be paid by the candidate concerned either through Credit/Debit Card/Net Banking or UPI,” the official notice read.

UGC NET 2024 exam date
The UGC NET 2024 exam for the December session is scheduled to be held from January 1 to 19, 2025. The exam will be conducted to determine the eligibility of Indian nationals for ‘award of Junior Research Fellowship and appointment as Assistant Professor, appointment as Assistant Professor and admission to PhD and admission to PhD only in Indian universities and colleges.
UGC NET 2024: What can be edited?
Candidates who have verified their details using an Aadhaar Card cannot edit certain fields, including their name, gender, photo, signature, mobile number, email address, permanent or correspondence address, or exam city. However, they are allowed to edit details such as date of birth, category, father's name, and mother's name.
