UGC NET 2025: Candidates can fill the application form and make fee payment on ugcnet.nta.nic.in up to 11:50 pm on November 7.

The National Testing Agency (NTA) will close the registration window for University Grants Commission National Eligibility Test (UGC NET) December 2025 tomorrow, November 7. Aspirants can fill the UGC NET application form 2025 for the December session exam on the official website, ugcnet.nta.nic.in.
The testing agency issued an advisory reminding aspirants that the UGC NET 2025 registration will be closing tomorrow. Candidates who have not completed the application process have been asked to ensure that they fill and submit the online application form, pay the prescribed exam fee, and download and retain the confirmation page for future reference.
“It is reiterated that only candidates who have successfully paid the fee will be considered as having completed the application process. Candidates are also advised to check their particular carefully before fee payment as no change shall be permitted later,” NTA added.

UGC NET registration and fee payment window will be active till 11:50 pm. The application fee for the candidates belonging to the general category is Rs 1,150. General-EWS or OBC-NCL applicants will have to pay Rs 600, Scheduled Caste (SC), Scheduled Tribes (ST), Person with Disability (PwD), and transgender candidates will have to deposit Rs 325.
Candidates will be required to upload the following documents for UGC NET December 2025 registration:
NTA will open the UGC NET December 2025 application correction window from November 10 to 12. Candidates who register successfully will be able to modify their personal details, academic qualification, exam city preferences and scanned photos during this period.
UGC NET December 2025 will be held in a computer-based test (CBT) mode from December 31, 2025 to January 7, 2026 for 85 subjects. The scores will be used for awarding of Junior Research Fellowship (JRF), appointment of assistant professor in Indian universities and admissions to PhD programmes.
