UPSC CAPF reserve list 2023 contains the names of candidates who have cleared the exam but were not included in the first merit list.
NEW DELHI: The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) has issued the reserve list for the Central Armed Police Forces Assistant Commandants (UPSC CAPF AC) 2023 recruitment examination. Candidates who appeared for the recruitment examination can check the UPSC CAPF AC reserve list 2023 through the official website at upsc.gov.in.
Out of the 46 recommended candidates, 16 are from the general category, 8 are EWS, 18 are OBC, 2 are SC and 2 are from the ST category. “One vacancy has been kept reserved given a sub-judice case in the Delhi High Court”, the Commission said.
The candidature of ten candidates is provisional. The commission has published their roll numbers in the notification. The commission has recommended the 312 candidates in the order of merit for appointment.
The reserve list contains the names of candidates who have cleared the exam but were not included in the first merit list. These candidates may now have the opportunity to be considered for various positions in CAPFs such as the Border Security Force (BSF), Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF), Central Industrial Security Force (CISF), Indo-Tibetan Border Police (ITBP), and Sashastra Seema Bal (SSB).

Candidates who appeared for the exam can follow these steps to check the reserve list:
- Visit the official website of UPSC, www.upsc.gov.in.
- Navigate to the “What’s New” section on the homepage.
- Click on the link titled "UPSC CAPF AC Reserve List 2024."
- A PDF containing the list of roll numbers and names of the candidates will appear on the screen.
- Candidates can search for their roll number to see if they have made it to the reserve list.
