NEW DELHI : The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) has declared the final result for Combined Defence Services (CDS) 1 exam for admission to the Officers Training Academy (OTA). Candidates can check the UPSC CDS 1 final result 2023 through the official website, upsc.gov.in.

A total of 347 candidates have been selected for admission to the OTA Chennai for the 119th Short Service Commission course (Men) and OTA Chennai 33rd Short Service Commission Women (Non-Technical) course starting in April, 2024.
The commission informed that the number ol vacancies for 119th Short Service Commission Course (for Men) is 170 and for 33rd Short Service Commission Women (Non-Technical) Course is 17.
“The results of Medical Examination of candidates have not been taken into account in preparing the merit list. The candidature of all the candidates is Provisional. Verification of Date of Birth and Educational Qualification of these Candidates will be done by Army Head Quarter,” said UPSC.
The marks of recommended candidates will be available within 15 days from the date of declaration of CDS 1 final results on the commission's website for 30 days.
The commission invited attention of candidates to the scheme of public disclosure of marks and other details of non-recommended candidates. “Such non-recommended candidates may exercise their options while downloading their marks,” UPSC added.
