Uttarakhand NEET UG Counselling 2025: HNBUMU revises round 3 schedule after addition of new seats

Download EBookHemwati Nandan Bahuguna Uttarakhand Medical Education University (HNBUMU) has revised the schedule for the third round of the National Eligibility Entrance Test (NEET UG) 2025 counselling. Accordingly, the last date for registration and fee payment is October 17. Eligible aspirants can apply for Uttarakhand NEET PG counselling 2025 on the official website, hnbumu.ac.in.
Once registered, candidates will have to fill choices for courses and colleges. The deadline for choice-filling and locking is October 17 only. Previously registered candidates and those opting for seat upgradation have to fill the re-registration form and exercise choices without fee payment.
The university informed that through a notice issued by the National Medical Commission (NMC), 50 seats have been increased in Shri Guru Ram Rai Institute of Medical and Health Sciences, Dehradun. Following the principal’s request to include the new MBBS seats, the counselling board has included them in the NEET UG 2025 seat matrix for UK NEET UG round 3 counselling 2025. The board asked candidates to choose from the newly added seats.

Moreover, the time limit for surrendering the seat with forfeiture of the security deposit for the candidates who have taken admissions on the seats allotted to them through the first or second round counselling has been extended till October 16.
“Due to extension of the third round counselling period by Medical Counselling Committee, Government of India, the candidates can surrender the seat admitted in first/second round by appearing at the institute till 05:00 PM on 16.10.2025. After 05:00 PM on 16.10.2025, no candidate will be allowed to surrender the seat admitted through first/second round counselling,” the university stated.
