Vivekananda Global University ranks third in India in Global University Rankings 2024

VGU secured the third rank according to the Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) and Strong Institutions (SI) rankings for 2024.
NEW DELHI: Vivekananda Global University (VGU) Jaipur, Rajasthan's first National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC) AAA+ accredited private university, has secured the third rank in India for its innovative strategies and commitment to inclusivity, according to the DEI and SI rankings 2024 by Global University Ranking.
Omkar Bagaria, the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of VGU, credited the entire university community, including students, faculty, and staff, for this achievement. He expressed pride in VGU's ranking, highlighting the institution's commitment to educational advancement, environmental betterment, and career-building for students.
Lalit K Panwar, chairperson of VGU, highlighted the university's belief in holistic education that develops students' personalities comprehensively. With over 12,000 students from nearly all Indian states and 18 other countries, VGU offers more than 100 career-oriented programmes, including doctoral courses, he added. Panwar also stated that VGU is truly a global university, with more than 12000 students from almost all the states of India and 18 other countries pursuing their education in UG and PG faculties and more than 100 career-oriented programs including doctoral courses.
Santosh Kumar, acting president of VGU, stated that the university's third position in the national ranking reflects its continuous academic progress. He noted that VGU has made rapid strides in higher education, establishing itself not only in Rajasthan but also among the top universities in the country. Santosh Kumar also highlighted that VGU's success is a testament to its dedication to providing quality education and fostering an environment that supports academic excellence and personal growth.
