WBJEEB JECA, JELET 2025 registration begins at wbjeeb.nic.in; apply by September 17

The WBJEEB will conduct JELET 2025 on September 18 and JECA 2025 on October 19, both in a single shift from 11 am to 1 pm.

The West Bengal Joint Entrance Examinations Board (WBJEEB) has opened the registration window for the Joint Entrance for Admission to MCA (JECA) 2025 and Joint Entrance Examination for Lateral Entry (JELET) 2025 exams. Eligible candidates can register for the WBJEEB JECA, JELET 2025 by September 17 through the official website at wbjeeb.nic.in.

The WBJEEB JECA 2025 exam is scheduled to be held on October 19, while JELET 2025 will be conducted on September 18. Both JECA, JELET 2025 exams will be conducted in a single shift from 11 am to 1 pm. The board will issue the admit card for both exams on September 10.

JECA, JELET Application Form 2025: Eligibility criteria

To be eligible for the JECA 2025, candidates should have passed or appeared in the undergraduate level final semester examination.

The eligibility criteria for the WBJEEB JELET 2025, including age limit and educational qualification, are given below.

Age limit

  • There is no upper age limit for candidates holding a Diploma in Engineering, Diploma in Technology, Diploma in Vocational Education (DVoc), or Diploma in Pharmacy.
  • For Bachelor of Science (BSc) and Bachelor of Vocation (BVoc) candidates, the upper age limit is 27 years as on December 31, 2025.
  • For Diploma holders in Marine Engineering, the upper age limit is 25 years as on December 31, 2025.

Educational qualification

  • Diploma holders with a three-year diploma or two-year lateral entry diploma in any branch of engineering and technology should have at least 45 per cent marks, with 40 per cent for reserved categories.
  • BSc degree holders should have at least 45 per cent marks, with 40 per cent for reserved categories, and should have passed Class 12 with Mathematics.
  • Candidates with a BVoc or a three-year DVoc in the same or allied sector are also eligible.
  • Diploma holders in Pharmacy seeking admission into a degree course in Pharmacy should have completed the diploma from an institution approved by the Pharmacy Council of India under Section 12 of the Pharmacy Act.
  • They should have secure at least 45 per cent marks or equivalent CGPA in the Diploma in Pharmacy examination, with 40 per cent for SC, ST, OBC-A, OBC-B, and PwD candidates.

“Such candidates will also be eligible for admission to the 1st year Degree Course subject to vacancies in the 1st year classes in case the vacancies as lateral entry at second year are exhausted. However, the admission shall be based strictly on the eligibility criteria as is mentioned above or any notification is issued by the Pharmacy Council of India on this issue,” the official brochure said.

WBJEEB JECA, JELET Registration 2025: Uploading of images

Candidates will have to upload the photograph and signature in the following format during the registration process.

  • Candidates will have to upload JPG or JPEG images of their recent colour photograph with a file size between 10 KB and 200 KB.
  • The signature should be uploaded in JPG or JPEG format with a file size between 4 KB and 30 KB.
  • Documents such as certificates or marksheets, if required, should be uploaded in PDF format with a file size between 50 KB and 300 KB.
  • The photograph and signature should be uploaded together in a single attempt.
